People from Canada and other countries with nationalized health care systems come HERE for care because they actually get answers and not just a pill and told to go away. They are currently told what we will be told, and actually we have already been told by propents of the new plan "Everyone needs to become comfortable with their own Mortality" If you have a rare disease or are in need of a transplant an elderly age and it doesn't make 'government spending' sense to look into a cure or to give you the additional 15 years of life, they won't bother. Currently we have people and Doctores willing to invest in technology and cures, pay insurance or out of pocket expenses for treatments that are new and innovative to save lives and just fix an unusal ailment. You need to start talking to people in other countries that have national health care, they don't have the care or service that our doctors have given us. Sure, the insurance companies have had a part to play to the increased costs, but its not just them. The real fact is there are alot of people that are not legal citizens coming in using our current system and draining it. This 'plan' does not solve the problem as it only applies to legal citizens. What about the people that due to their religion feel that it is against ALL of their beliefs to practice in modern medicine? They will be punished in this sytem. Stupid and reckless you may say of these people chosing a God over science and medicine, so then we should force the Amish to plug into an electrical outlet? Make them use cars and have cell phones? Really? Is that what we are going to as a society, everyone must be the same and the right to CHOSE or our freedeom of religion are no longer an options or allowed? Oh hey, if you screw up or make bad choices the rest of us will bail you out? Remember all this when a neighbor gets arrested for doing something stupid and is looking for a bond for bail - be sure you pay up and do your 'new' civic duty. After all, that is what we are coming to. God Bless America.
